Give Your Views On Our Rural Community

The Department of Agriculture and Rural Development (DARD) is to hold a series of consultation events to allow those who live in rural areas the opportunity to give their thoughts and views on the new Rural Development Programme (RDP) 2014 – 2020.

Anyone with an interest in the wider countryside including food and farming, environment, rural business, tourism, social enterprise, rural services, community and village regeneration is encouraged to come along and contribute to the new programme and its investment in our rural areas.

The events hosted by DARD will also be attended by RDC as the Rural Network for Northern Ireland, RCN, the Northern Ireland Rural Women’s Network and Rural Support Networks.

The dates and locations of the planned evening events are as follows:

  • Wed 28th August, Greenmount College, Antrim
  • Tuesday 3rd September, Enniskillen College, Fermanagh
  • Thursday 5th September, Loughry College, Cookstown
  • Tuesday 10th September Benedy Community Centre, Dungiven
  • Thursday 12th September, Armagh City Hotel
  • Tuesday 17th September, The Lodge Castlewellan.  

All events will be held between 7pm and 9pm.
